| A Message from Mrs. Eunice Keli: Facilitator, Ministry to Children Training Program. |
Dear all,
We lovingly invite you to participate in our Christian Ministry training. This course is designed to sharpen and clarify God’s heart and wish for children for proper understanding by all who believe in the capacity of children to transform our world for Christ.
By giving this training, Daystar University is seeking to reach, equip and empower Christian workers in Ministry with children to maximize the children’s transformational impact for the rest of their lives.
Ministry to children stands on the Biblical mandate that children can be made to know God, love Him and serve God and man through fellowship. We hope that by bringing together Christian leaders to become inspired and understand the strategic importance of children and youth in the 4/14 Window of receptivity when most people accept Jesus as their personal savior. We hope that churches in Kenya and elsewhere will recognize that 4/14ers can make a difference in their community if we utilize education, spiritual, parental and pastoral resources to equip and mobilize them.
With this training, we expect that Christian leaders will gain knowledge and insights to nurture children of the 4 to 14 age group to grow and develop sound Christian principles for an effective and holistic leadership. Bringing up children in the fear of the Lord is to raise up future God fearing leaders both for His Church and the society at large to transform and lead their generation for Christ (Ps 8:2; 34:11; 103:13; and Mark 10:13-16).
We trust that our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see the need to train in this invaluable course to win more souls to Christ. We hold in faith that the Lord will provide the time and means for you to attend this course. We welcome your full participation as you join us to embrace, shape and saw the seed of children in fertile land for a bumper harvest for Christ.
Yours in Christ service,
Eunice Keli

| Course Title: MINISTRY TO CHILDREN |
“Transforming children into spiritual champions at their receptive ages (4/14 window)”
The entire effectiveness of a Sunday school rests on its teachers. There can be curriculum, buildings, equipment, and organization, but it takes a human teacher to communicate to pupils the bible truths.
The quality of a Sunday school rises or falls on the teacher, his preparation, motivation,
spirituality, and personality. Teaching is defined as guiding the learning experience of the pupils. This presupposes three qualities of teaching: first, the correct content, second, the teacher knows what experiences are necessary and third, the teacher is pupil-related and centered. When the Sunday school teacher does his job properly, he is a shepherd to his flock. He is more than an instructor of biblical fact and has a ministry from God.
The short courses in Ministry to Children are designed to enhance the basic qualifications of the Sunday school teacher and pastors in the areas of being spiritual, educationally prepared and personally disciplined for effective ministry with children. The course is aimed at enhancing the competence of Sunday school teachers and pastors to take up their shepherding responsibilities of the Sunday school children for effective ministry. The course will explore strategies Sunday school teachers and pastors can lead the flock; feed the flock; and to protect the flock and win more souls for Christ.
The short time courses take one to two weeks based on selected topics from the list provided below. Training is also tailor made to suit the needs of our clients. Participants will get certificated of participation for individual courses done. Upon completion of the course, they will get a Daystar University Academic Certificate at a graduation ceremony.
